Accuphase has announced the successor to its smallest integrated amplifier E-280 and that is the E-3000. The E-3000 has a bit more power than its predecessor and also the damping factor is bigger. Accuphase has built in its own AAVA volume control. The E-300 is not a revolution but a refined evolution.
Accuphase E-3000: High-current MOSFET output stage
The amplifier’s output stage uses a parallel push-pull configuration with carefully selected MOSFET semiconductors (transistors). This design ensures smooth, stable power delivery with low distortion, resulting in effortless dynamics and refined musical expression. Thanks to its robust power supply and high damping factor of 600, the E-3000 drives speakers with precision and authority. The rated power is 100 watts into 8 ohms.
Accuphase E-3000: Precise AAVA volume control for pure sound
At the heart of the E-3000 is Accuphase’s renowned AAVA (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier) volume control. Unlike conventional potentiometers, AAVA preserves signal integrity by directly adjusting gain without introducing impedance changes or distortion. This proprietary technology provides unparalleled clarity and transparency, even at low listening levels.
Accuphase E-3000: Balanced and unbalanced inputs for versatile connection options, optional DA converter and phono amplifier
The Accuphase E-3000 offers a wide range of connection options, including balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA line inputs. This flexibility allows for seamless integration with various source components and ensures the best possible signal transmission. In addition, the amplifier has dedicated pre-out and main-in connections, making it suitable for external power amplifiers or bi-amping configurations.
At the back there is space for two optional plug-in modules. The E-3000 can be expanded with a DAC converter or a phono amplifier, or with both.
