During the ongoing CEDIA 2024 exhibition in the USA, the WiiM brand unveiled the WiiM MOD S streamer and the WiiM MOD A80 network amplifier. These installation-focused versions of their well-known network audio components are designed to elevate both residential and commercial setups. The new offerings reflect WiiM’s fundamental principles of quality, user-friendliness, and comprehensive compatibility with a range of control platforms.
One of the newly launched products is the WiiM CI MOD S, a high-fidelity streamer featuring an AKM AK4493SEQ DAC, capable of Hi-Res Audio support up to 24-bit/192kHz, along with a range of connectivity options to accommodate diverse setup requirements.
Also debuting is the WiiM CI MOD A80 network amplifier , which combines an ESS Technology ES9018K2M DAC with a Texas Instruments TI TPA3255 Class D amplifier delivering 60 watts per channel into an 8 ohm nominal load.
The amplifier is equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 technologies. The initial shipment of these components is planned for October 2024.
