SMSL A50 offers several preset equalizers to tailor playback to your music, listening preferences and audio system. The tone control allows you to manually adjust the bass and treble levels within a 14 dB range.
Thanks to the Class D architecture based on a pair of Texas Instruments TPA3116 amplifier chips, the SMSL A50 is capable of delivering 2×60 W of power into a 4 ohm load (1% THD+N) or 2×33 W into an 8 ohm load (1% THD+N), with high efficiency, typical for this type of construction. Advanced oscillator and PLL circuitry ensures low jitter while significantly reducing noise. Thus, the amplifier is able to provide accurate, detailed and transparent sound reproduction.
The SMSL A50's Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connection makes it easy to stream and control music remotely, such as from a smartphone or tablet. The amplifier is equipped with a feature that allows it to automatically connect to the device it was paired with when turned on.
