Cinnamon has launched the Galle, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that stems from comprehensive research into advanced digital-to-analog conversion technologies. Aimed at delivering exceptional sound quality and accuracy, the Galle features a combination of state-of-the-art engineering and careful craftsmanship. It consists of three main components: the input stage, the digital-to-analog conversion stage, and the output stage.
In contrast to many DACs that utilize off-the-shelf chips, Cinnamon’s design incorporates a quasi-non-oversampling circuit that is further enhanced by sophisticated signal processing. This configuration operates in a dual mono setup, employing a 27-bit differential resistor ladder made up of 430 precision resistors, each with an impressive tolerance of 0.01%, which guarantees high signal fidelity throughout the conversion process.
