An enhanced version of the Gustard DAC-X26, the X26 Pro offers a number of improvements that make it more powerful and versatile. These include a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, improved synchronization, MQA file decoding, and improved heat dissipation.
The X26Pro's no-compromise design incorporates premium audio components to deliver rich, accurate and dynamic sound that's as close to the original signal as possible.
Gustard X26Pro has a full range of connectors that can adapt to many audio systems. Inputs include USB-B, I2S LVDS over HDMI, coaxial, AES, optical and Bluetooth receive. For output, the X26Pro offers balanced XLR and unbalanced stereo RCA. Note that the analog circuit of the device uses a balanced architecture without conversion with complete separation of the two outputs.
The X26Pro has a built-in K2 clock synthesizer that provides a second clock signal and decoding synchronization. This allows the DAC to operate independently of the source equipment.
Gustard X26Pro offers several digital filters, PCM and DSD, allowing you to tailor the sound reproduction to the characteristics of your audio system, as well as reduce residual noise.
In order to offer high quality filters, Gustard decided to develop its own filters based on the DSP Analog Device SHARC chip.
